Heritage Tanks Australia Pty Ltd are pleased to announce the all new gutter system for
circular rain water tanks. The all new Australian designed and manufactured gutter, using Bluescope zincalume or
colorbond steel, enables you to collect up to 100% of your rain off your tank roof without
compromising the capacity of your tank.
Instead of all your precious rain water from your tank roof going to waste, you can now
harvest this precious commodity directly into your water tank.
How does it work?
With the gutter system fitted to your tank all the rain from your tank roof is
directly diverted into your tank via the all new gutter system. The rain runs down the roof
and into the gutter system, which diverts the rain water under the corrie profile roof into
the water tank. (see diagram above).
The circular tank gutter system can be fitted onto your Heritage Tank when your new
tank is installed. The gutter can also be fitted to all existing steel tanks with a profiled
roof. This can be done by a plumber, tank installer or as a D.I.Y. kit.

As you are harvesting the total rain fall off the tank roof, you will fill the tank by that amount
of rain fall ie: if 20mm of rain falls the tank will fill by 20mm.
An example of a 100,000 litre tank (7.8m diameter) In a rainfall area of 750mm per year you will collect
and extra 35,000 litres. This can equate to three tank loads of water. If you have to buy this the cost
could be well over $750 per year. This could be more than a once off cost of the gutter system itself. |
